About
For filmmakers developing a shot or visual creators working from artwork, start with words or an image and describe the motion: water crossing a surface, a camera traveling through a miniature world, a sculpture changing shape. This page keeps Seedance 2.0 selected. Set the output framing explicitly when starting from an image, choose from the available settings and decide whether to include sound. Review the result against your brief.
Questions
Can I start Seedance 2.0 from an image?
Yes. Use Image to Video, add the start image and describe what should move. Start from text instead when you want to invent the scene from a written brief.
Does it keep my input image’s aspect ratio automatically?
Seedance 2.0 requires an explicit output ratio in Image to Video. Check that setting and prepare the input composition for the frame you want.
Can I switch the generated sound off?
Seedance 2.0 supports an audio on/off setting. Review the selected option before sending, then check what was actually produced.
How should I describe movement?
Give the subject one main action, then state whether the camera holds still, follows or moves through the scene. Add pace and lighting when they matter to the shot.
How do its tier and resolution settings work?
The source configuration gives Standard a wider resolution range than Fast and Mini. Use the choices available for the selected tier in the entry; a model’s highest resolution does not apply to every tier.
