About
A short product reveal or illustrated scene may fit either model, so begin with the controls the job needs. Seedance 2.0 supports 4–15 seconds and an audio switch, with Standard, Fast and Mini tiers. MiniMax H3 supports 5–15 seconds, includes generated audio and uses one Standard tier. Both offer output through 4K, although their resolution menus differ. Seedance 2.0 requires an explicit output ratio for image-led shots; MiniMax H3 follows the image. Use those differences to prepare the request, then review the actual motion, recognizable details and soundtrack.
Questions
Which model lets me request a silent clip?
Seedance 2.0 has an audio-off option. MiniMax H3 includes audio and has no off setting. A silent final deliverable from H3 requires sound editing.
Do both support the same output resolutions?
Seedance 2.0 Standard offers 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K; Fast and Mini offer 480p or 720p. MiniMax H3 offers 480p, 720p, 2K and 4K on Standard. A matching top resolution does not make the menus identical.
How do I prepare the same start image for both?
Compose it for the intended screen. Set an explicit output ratio for Seedance 2.0; MiniMax H3 follows image-led framing. Keep the source and motion brief alongside each actual result.
Which operations do the two models support?
Both support text-to-video, image-to-video, first/last-frame and reference-to-video, with up to nine reference images in their current configurations. Use the correct roles for the selected operation.
What should a useful comparison look for?
Choose a 5–15-second duration both support. Compare the same action, camera path and identifying details. With audio enabled, listen for requested cues and unwanted speech; do not infer a general winner from one scene.
