Important Notice
These Terms constitute a legal agreement. By accessing or using HowWorks (including the website and related services), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Who We Are
HowWorks is a digital service operated by TrendZ AI.

2. Definitions
- Services: The products and features we provide, including but not limited to Topic conversations, Repo recommendations, DeepResearch, DeepDive, billing and recharge, etc.
- Credits: Pre-paid usage credits you purchase to use the services.
- Customer Data: Content you input, upload, submit, or generate through the services (e.g., prompts, text, code snippets, repository links, outputs, etc.).
- Third-Party AI Providers: Third-party model or service providers that process your input/prompts/related data to generate AI outputs.
- AI Output: Code, text, suggestions, reports, or other outputs generated by models.
3. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the capacity to enter into contracts.
- You are responsible for all activities under your account and warrant that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
4. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the services lawfully and shall not:
- Illegal or infringing: Post, generate, or disseminate illegal content, or infringe on others' intellectual property or privacy.
- Abuse & attacks: Conduct scraping/bulk extraction, bypass rate limits, maliciously flood requests, or compromise system security.
- High-risk use cases: Use AI outputs for automated decision-making in high-risk scenarios such as medical, legal, financial, or life safety applications, unless you implement adequate professional review and safety measures.
- Resale/sharing: Resell services, share accounts, or circumvent payment mechanisms without authorization.
5. AI & Third-Party Providers
To provide our services, we will send your input, prompts, and related data to artificial intelligence systems to generate outputs. These systems may be provided by us or by third-party providers.
- Third-Party Providers: We use or may use third-party AI providers including but not limited to Google (Gemini/AI Studio), OpenRouter, and others; we may add additional providers in the future (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Your consent: By using our services, you consent to the transmission, processing, and storage described above.
- Do not upload sensitive data: Please do not upload government ID numbers, bank card details, health information, passwords, private keys, or other sensitive information.
- Not used for training (by us): We do not use your customer data to train our models. How third-party providers handle data is governed by their terms.
6. Credits & Payment
6.1 Nature of Credits
- Credits are pre-paid, non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and non-transferable usage credits.
- Credits do not accrue interest and do not constitute deposits, stored value, or any financial instrument.
6.2 Validity Period
- Credits expire 12 months from the date of crediting; expired credits will be automatically forfeited.
6.3 Payment Processing
- We may accept payments through PayPal or other third-party payment processors.
- You agree to also be bound by the terms of that payment processor.
6.4 No Refunds
- Unless required by applicable law, all fees and credits are non-refundable.
- Any disputes/chargebacks/fraud claims may result in suspension of your account and service access.
7. Customer Data & Intellectual Property
- You own your customer data. However, you grant us a license necessary to provide services: to use, copy, process, store, transmit, and display your customer data globally.
- AI outputs may contain errors or be similar to others' results. You should independently verify correctness, compliance, and applicability.
- You should ensure you have the right to submit relevant content to us.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- Services are provided "as is"; we do not guarantee services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully meet your needs.
- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, availability, or non-infringement of AI outputs.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits, data loss, business interruption, etc.).
9. Termination & Account Handling
- You may stop using the services at any time.
- If we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraud/abuse/illegal conduct, we may suspend or terminate your access.
- If termination is due to your breach, remaining credits in your account may be forfeited.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
- Any disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for final arbitration.
